Before learning to drive, you must have a provisional licence. You can apply online or visit your local post office and request a D1 form.
Driving Test
The driving test consists of three elements.
- Theory test
- Hazard Perception test
- Driving test
If you suffer from dyslexia please advise your instructor as audio can be arranged for theory tests. The test centre requires this information in advance and is a common request.
Your driving instructor will be happy to help you pass all of these.
Lessons
All lessons are for 2 hours and require 48 hours cancellation notice, charges will apply if notice is not given. Your instructor will issue you with a card that you can write dates and times on the back as a reminder.
Your lessons will give you the maximum driving experience. If you require a short break, just ask, this can be helpful depending upon concentration spans for individuals.
